Cozy Cats Cattery Cumbria

Cumbria is known to be a county of animal lovers, and cats are one of our fondest furry family members. So when we need to be away from home for a period of time, whether that’s for work, a holiday, visiting relatives or even a hospital stay, it’s important to have your cat cared for by professionals who understand the individual needs of a cat, beyond the basics of food and water. 

Here at Cozy Cats Cattery Cumbria, we make it our absolute goal to make your cat’s stay with us as close as possible to their own loving home. We discuss your cat’s personality, what they like or dislike, toys they enjoy and extra care they may require, such as specific grooming for certain breeds, or medication for those with ailments or long term illnesses.

Cat enrichment is a top priority for us, we ensure every cat’s mental wellbeing is catered for and we spend quality time with each of our cat guests during their stay. We have a Level 3 Award in Cat Anxiety and Stress, and apply this knowledge throughout every aspect and decision we make for the cattery and the cats we look after.

We have 10 indoor units, which allows us to house up to 22 cat guests. Our units were purpose built in 2019 in the grounds of Snowdrop Barn at Black Beck Farm - a perfect setting for Cozy Cats Cattery Cumbria.

Cozy Cats is a family run cattery with Julie and John at the helm. Each of our staff members are fully trained and we hold a Level 3 Award in Cattery Management.
